(A) Any and all overtime work performed by any member of the Police Department must be reported as to hours and dates, and such report must be approved by his commanding officer and also by his shift commander.
(B) The reports to the City Administrative Officer, Clerk, and Bookkeeper, shall set out clearly, not only as to hours of the overtime work and dates as stated in this article, but also must briefly describe the purpose and nature of the work, as well as the reason and necessity for the work.
