§ 34.08 WORKER’S COMPENSATION LEAVE.
   (A)   Officials and workers of the town injured on the job and eligible to receive worker’s compensation benefits shall receive only those benefits, and not additional compensation from the town. Provided, however, during the waiting period for worker’s compensation, the employee or official may use sick or other available leave of the employee or official.
   (B)   Any previous practice wherein employees or officials were paid their full wages and/or salary by the town are hereby repealed.
   (C)   Benefits shall continue during the period of worker’s compensation leave, but not salary or wages.
