§ 93.03 ENUMERATION OF CERTAIN PROHIBITED ACTS CONCERNING THE USE OF MOTORIZED VEHICLES.
   The use of any automobile, motorcycle, truck or other motorized vehicle with appurtenances attached thereto so as to create loud or unnecessary grating, grinding, rattling or other noise. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate, cause to operate or use a motor vehicle such as to cause excessive noise levels as a result of a defective or modified muffler and/or exhaust system, or as a result of unnecessary rapid acceleration, deceleration, revving or tire squeal. It shall be unlawful for any person, during the operation of any motor vehicle, to engage or cause to be engaged an exhaust brake on said motor vehicle, which is sometimes known as a “jake brake” in the town.
