1066.02 PARTICIPATION IN COOK COUNTY 911 SYSTEM.
   (a)   The Village shall, by means of an intergovernmental agreement, participate in the Cook County 911 System, along with the Cook County Sheriff as to the unincorporated areas of Cook County and those municipalities that, from time to time, have chosen to participate in the Cook County 911 System, pursuant to the Emergency Telephone System Act, 50 ILCS 750/0.01 et seq., with dispatching services in relation to said participation to be provided by means of an intergovernmental agreement with Cook County and the Sheriff of Cook County.
   (b)   The intergovernmental agreements, as referenced in subsection (a) above, are entitled, “Intergovernmental Agreement Between the County of Cook on Behalf of the Cook County Sheriff and the Village of Palos Park” and “Intergovernmental Agreement Between the Cook County Emergency Telephone System Board and the Village of Palos Park (Distribution of 9-1-1 Surcharge Funds)”, were approved by the Palos Park Village Council on December 9, 2019, are on file with the Palos Park Village Clerk, and are incorporated herein by reference as if fully set forth herein.
