If the Village has reason to believe that a private residential swimming pool does not meet the operating requirements of this chapter, the Village shall authorize the Health Officer or the Commissioner of Public Property and Building to inspect such swimming pool.
If the inspecting officer finds that the operation of the pool does not meet the requirements of this chapter, he or she may direct that the pool be closed until such time as the requirements are met. No person shall deny access to the pool to the inspecting officer between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
