(a) No private residential swimming pool drain outlet, subsurface, footing or other related drainage shall be discharged into a sanitary sewer.

(b) No private residential swimming pool shall be drained across or upon the land of adjoining property owners. A pool shall be drained onto and contained on the property where the pool is located, or provision shall be made to drain the pool into a culvert, ditch or storm water pipe whereby the water will be discharged from the property without causing damage to adjoining properties.
