(a) A political sign shall be identified as any sign advertising or promoting any candidate for any election or promoting any position relative to a referendum to be voted upon by the electorate.
(b) No political sign shall be placed on a utility pole, street light standard or road sign standard or in a public right of way.
(c) All political signs shall conform to the regulations as to size contained in this chapter.
(d) Political signs located on private property shall be located such that they do not obstruct the line of sight of vehicular traffic.
(e) The Village shall assume that the candidate whose name appears on a political sign shall be the individual responsible for the removal of such sign, provided that another individual is not designated, in writing, to the Village Clerk, as the person responsible for the removal of such sign.
