Any person applying for a permit under this chapter shall, prior to receiving the permit, submit a bond in the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000), with a lawful corporate surety to be approved by the Village Attorney, conditioned upon compliance with all of the provisions of this chapter and upon holding the Village harmless from any claim which may arise by reason of the occupation of any public way by the building or structure to be moved.
