(a) Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this chapter, including, but not limited to, obtaining a building permit without obtaining the certificate of compliance where required herein or performing work inconsistent with representations made in any application to the Plan Commission and the Village Council for such certificate of compliance, shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during which a violation continues beyond the compliance date set forth in the notice.
(b) In addition to any fine which may be imposed hereunder, the Village may seek a mandatory order of compliance or such other further equitable relief as a court of competent jurisdiction may grant, including an award of attorney's fees as provided by statute.
