1220.02 MEMBERSHIP; OFFICERS.
   The Plan Commission shall have seven members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council. The members shall serve for staggered terms of five years. Vacancies shall be filled by the Mayor for the unexpired term, subject to confirmation by Council.
   A member may be removed for cause after written charges have been filed and after a public hearing has been held if demanded by the member so charged.
   One of the members shall be designated by the Mayor, with the consent of Council, as Chairman of the Commission. He or she shall hold office until his or her successor is appointed. The Village Clerk shall act as clerk for the Commission and shall make and keep a record of all its meetings and official acts. The Chairman may appoint a member to serve as Vice Chairman and a member to serve as Secretary.
