Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00), with each day said violation has existed or continues to exist constituting a separate and distinct offense. A determination by a court that a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter has taken place, and the assessment of a penalty therefor, shall not preclude the Village from seeking a recovery of any unpaid charges, fees or other sums due the Village under this chapter or other ordinances of the Village because of the furnishing by the Village of its utility services, nor shall it preclude the Village from any other legal or equitable remedies it may have under this Code or otherwise.
