No service pipe shall be laid or used to supply water to two or more distinct premises or buildings, unless separate stopcocks for each of the premises or buildings are placed outside of such premises in the parkway and a permit is obtained for each service. This section may not apply to a condominium, townhouse or similar type of development having its own internal circulating system.
