1042.27 CONFLICT OF LAWS.
    In any case where a provision of this chapter is found to be in conflict with a provision of any zoning, building, fire, safety or health ordinance or code of the Village existing on the effective date of this section (Ordinance 1975-4, passed February 26, 1975), the provision which, in the judgment of the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety or his or her designated representative, establishes the higher standard for the promotion and protection of the health and safety of the people, shall prevail. In any case where a provision of this chapter is found to be in conflict with a provision of any other ordinance or code of the Village existing on the effective date of this section (Ordinance 1975-4, passed February 26, 1975), which establishes a lower standard for the promotion and protection of the health and safety of the people, the provision of this chapter shall prevail, and such other ordinance or code is hereby declared to be repealed to the extent that it may be found to be in conflict with this chapter.
