Whoever violates any provision of this chapter, or fails to comply with any notice issued pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, shall be subject to a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) nor more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues. Whoever wrongfully removes or destroys a tree shall be subject to a fine of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per tree.
