892.03 EXCEPTION.

Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter, the tax provided for by this chapter shall not be imposed if and to the extent that the imposition or collection of the tax would violate the Constitution or statutes of the United States or the Constitution or statutes of the State of Illinois.
