890.07 EFFECTIVE DATE.

   This chapter shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and approval and publication in pamphlet form as required by law, provided, however, that:

   (a)   Sections 890.02 and 890.03, and the tax provided for therein, shall take effect for all bills issued on or after July 1, 2003; and

   (b)   Any amounts due or payable to the Village for any tax periods ending prior to the first day of July, 2003, shall nevertheless remain payable pursuant to Chapter 888 of the Village Code, as if this chapter had not been adopted.
