864.08 REVOCATION AND EXPIRATION OF LICENSE.
   (a)   In addition to the penalty provided in Section 864.99, a license issued under this chapter shall be revoked by the Village Clerk if the holder of the license is convicted of a violation of any of the provisions of this chapter, has made a false statement in the application for such license or otherwise becomes disqualified for the issuance of a license under this chapter. Immediately upon such revocation, written notice thereof shall be given by the Clerk to the holder of the certificate in person or by certified United States mail addressed to his or her home address as set forth in the application. Immediately upon the giving of such notice, the license shall become null and void.
   (b)   The license shall state the expiration date thereof and whether it was issued for solicitation or distribution of unsolicited material. No license shall be granted for a period greater than six months.
