(a) No person under twenty-one years of age shall purchase, possess or consume any alcoholic liquor within the Village. It shall be unlawful for any parent or legal guardian of any person under the age of twenty-one years to allow such person to purchase, possess, receive or consume any alcoholic liquor in violation of this section upon either public or private property within the Village. However, the possession and dispensing of alcoholic liquor in the performance of a religious service or ceremony, or the consumption by a person under twenty-one years of age under the direct supervision and approval of a parent or legal guardian of such minor in the privacy of the home is not prohibited by this section.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any owner or occupant of property located in the Village to allow any person under twenty-one years of age to possess or consume alcoholic liquor on said property in violation of this section.
(c) This section does not apply to possession by a minor making a delivery of an alcoholic beverage in pursuance of the order of his or her parent or legal guardian, or in pursuance of his or her employment.
(d) No person under twenty-one years of age shall misrepresent his or her age for the purpose of purchasing or obtaining alcoholic liquor.
