A person operating a horse or bicycle on any street in the Village after dark shall wear upon his or her person, or attach to the horse or bicycle, a reflector which reflects an amber color to the front and a red color to the rear. The amber color shall be visible to oncoming traffic at a distance of not less than 500 feet and the red color shall be visible at a distance of 200 feet to traffic approaching from the rear.
