(a) For the license issued under this chapter, a fee shall be paid annually, as follows:

(b) Replacement of lost license: see Section 462.06 below.
(c) Senior citizens. All senior citizens (sixty-five years of age or older as of July 1) shall be entitled to purchase one passenger motor vehicle license at one-half the normal license fee and one antique motor vehicle license at one-half the normal license fee upon presentation of proof of age and registration (limit of two of each license per household). In addition, senior citizens utilizing a truck (gross weight up to 8,000 pounds) as their primary mode of personal transportation shall be entitled to purchase motor vehicle licenses (one per senior citizen, with a limit of two per household) for trucks, (gross weight up to 8,000 pounds) at one-half the normal license fee. At the time of purchase, the senior citizen requesting the discounted rate shall certify that the truck is used for personal transportation and is never used in business or commercial pursuits.
(d) An antique motor vehicle under this section shall be a motor vehicle which qualifies for, and whose owner has obtained, antique vehicle license plates issued by the State of Illinois. Proof of registration of the motor vehicle as an antique vehicle by the State shall be submitted to the Department of Accounts and Finances when an application is made for an antique motor vehicle license pursuant to this section.
