There is hereby established a Recreational Advisory Commission, which shall consist of seven members. Five of the members shall be residents of the Village, one of the members may or may not be a resident of the Village, and the Recreation Department Director shall serve as the seventh member and Chairperson for the Commission. Members of the Commission, not including the Recreation Department Director, shall be appointed by Council, with two members appointed for an initial term of one year, two members appointed for an initial term of two years and two members appointed for an initial term of three years, each such member thereafter serving a term of three years, beginning on June 1 of the year of appointment.
