(a) The Palos Park Tree Body shall promote the preservation and reforestation program of the Village and encourage greater public awareness and participation in this program. This program shall include the development and administration of a comprehensive Village forestry program.
(b) The Palos Park Tree Body shall make recommendations to Council regarding planting, maintenance, removal and funding for inclusion in a Municipal forestry program.

(c) The Palos Park Tree Body shall consist of seven members appointed by Council. Two members shall be appointed for an initial term of one year, two members shall be appointed for an initial term of two years, two members shall be appointed for an initial term of three years and one member shall be appointed for an initial term of four years, with members thereafter each serving for a term of four years, beginning on June 1 of the year of the appointment.
