All full-time Village employees shall be entitled to a maximum of ten paid days for holidays and shall be compensated in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. For purposes of compensation, holidays shall be credited toward any overtime standard established in this chapter.
All full-time, civilian employees of the Village are entitled to be off on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. In addition, all full-time employees of the Village are entitled to be off for two "floating holidays," with the dates thereof to be determined by the full-time employee.
