256.11 PROBATIONARY PERIOD.
   All employees of the Village, except employees of the Police Department, which has its own standards, shall be required to successfully complete a six-month probationary period of employment. The six-month period shall be continuous and uninterrupted by a leave of absence from the Village, either approved or unapproved. In the event of such an absence from the Village, the probationary period will begin anew upon the employee's return to employment. Any probationary employee shall remain a terminable "at will" employee of the Village until the successful completion of the prescribed period of probation.
