The Village Treasurer shall perform such duties as may be prescribed for him or her by statute or ordinance. The Treasurer shall receive all moneys paid into the Village, whether directly from the person paying the moneys or from the hands of such other officer or employee as may receive the moneys, and the Treasurer shall pay out moneys only on vouchers or orders properly signed and approved by Council.
