This chapter is adopted pursuant to Division 2.2 of Article I of the Illinois Municipal Code (65 ILCS 5/1-2.2-1 et seq.) and Division 31.1 of Article 11 of the Illinois Municipal Code (65 ILCS 5/11-31.1-1 et seq.) in their current forms and as they may be amended from time to time for adjudication of Village ordinance violations, including Building Code violations, to the extent permitted by the Illinois constitution.
