(a) The datum for the establishment of grades in the Village is hereby established at a line or plane 672.40 feet above mean sea level at New York City, New York.
(b) The datum is indicated by a bench mark, being a square cut in the top of the curb around the base of the northeast corner of the Fire Department building, located approximately 200 feet east of 89th Avenue on the south side of 123rd Street, which elevation shall be the bench from which all Village grades and benches shall be established. Bench marks have been placed as follows:
(1) Bench mark No. 1 is the top of the brass plug at the intersection of the centerlines of 86th Avenue and 119th Street. The elevation is 694.24 feet above mean sea level at New York City.
(2) Bench mark No. 2 is the top of the brass plug at the intersection of the centerlines of 86th Avenue and 123rd Street. The elevation is 689.51 feet above mean sea level at New York City.
(3) Bench mark No. 3 is the square cut in the concrete headwall of the south side of 119th Street located approximately 200 feet west of the intersection of 119th Street and Southwest Highway. The elevation is 619.79 feet above mean sea level at New York City.
