Every pool regulated by this chapter, with a capacity of 5,000 gallons (approximately 700 cubic feet) or more, shall be equipped with a water recirculation and filtration system. The equipment shall be capable of effecting one turnover of pool volume in 12 hours or less at a rate of not more than 3 gallons per minute per square foot of filter surface.
