Application for the building permit required by § 154.05 shall be in writing on the form prescribed by the building commissioner. The application shall briefly describe the proposed work, and shall contain the information, drawings, plans, and specifications prescribed in this chapter. Application shall be made by the owner or lessee or an agent of either, or the architect, engineer, or builder employed in connection with the proposed work. The application shall contain the full names and addresses of the applicant and of the owner or lessee, or agent of either, and if the applicant is a corporate body, of its responsible officers.
