No portion of an outdoor private residential swimming pool, except the walkway described in § 154.13, or appurtenant equipment (pumps or filters), shall be located at a distance less than 10 feet from any side or rear property line, or less than 3 feet from any building line, except where the appurtenant equipment is installed in an accessory or main building, or within 15 feet of any septic tank or seepage field. No swimming pool appurtenant equipment shall be permitted in the required side yard between dwellings or in public utility easements.
