§ 152.49 STREETS AT BUSINESS CENTERS.
   In front of areas zoned or designed for commercial use, the street width and the roadway width shall be increased on the side or sides on which the property for commercial use is located by a merging lane at least 15 feet wide. This is to insure the free flow of traffic without interference by vehicles entering or leaving parking areas. This is not a parking space requirement and shall in no way affect or diminish requirement by the zoning code or otherwise for off-street parking facilities; neither shall fulfillment of this requirement and its acceptance by the plan commission be deemed an approval or endorsement of any change in zoning necessary for commercial use.
