§ 152.21 ACTION ON FINAL PLAT.
The plan commission will communicate in writing to the subdivider its disapproval together with the reasons therefor, or notice of its recommendation for approval, of the final plat, within 60 days after the date on which the application for approval is made. If the plan commission approves the final plat, the approval will be entered upon the tracings by the signature of the chairman. The tracings shall then be transmitted to the city council by the plan commission with the recommendation for council approval. Upon approval by council action, the tracing shall be signed by the mayor and the city clerk, and affixed with the city seal. Approval by the council shall be by resolution setting forth all conditions upon which approval is predicated. The original tracing shall be recorded with the appropriate officials of Cook County and, after recording a certified copy and a signed reproducible, shall be returned to the city and filed by the clerk. Appropriate notifications shall be given to the plan commission and the subdivider, advising of council approval or disapproval. If the plat is disapproved, the tracings are to be returned to the plan commission with a statement of reasons.
