§ 152.18 FEES.
   (A)   Conditions. In order to cover the costs of examining the layout, advertising, holding public hearings, and other expenses incidental to approval of a subdivision, the subdivider shall pay a fee at the time of application for the conditional approval of a preliminary layout. The fee shall be based on the estimated number of lots created. At the time of application for approval of the final plat, the required fee will be recalculated on the basis of the actual number of lots created, and an adjustment of the fee will be made. The subdivider shall pay an additional amount or shall receive a refund, if the adjusted fee differs from the original fee. There will be no refund of any portion of the fee if the subdivider fails to apply for final approval of the subdivision. If, because of the failure of the subdivider to submit a final plat within 12 months after receiving conditional approval of a preliminary plat, it is necessary to resubmit a preliminary plat for conditional approval, the subdivider shall be required to pay the fee currently in effect at the time of resubmission.
   (B)   Amount. The fees for approval of a subdivision shall be $500 plus $25 per each newly created lot, and the cost of legal and engineering fees incurred by the city.
   (C)   Separate charge. All fees established by this section are in addition to any sums paid to cover the costs of field inspection of construction as required under the provisions of § 152.105.
