§ 150.95 INSPECTION OF HOMES AND HOME IMPROVEMENTS IN RESIDENTIAL UNITS OCCUPIED BY SENIOR CITIZENS.
   At the request of any resident of 65 years of age or older, the Building Commissioner shall cause an inspection to be made of any residential unit, any proposed improvement to that unit (including the costs thereof), or any improvement in process or completed in or about that unit. This inspection shall include advice to the resident as to the necessity for any improvements, the reasonable costs of any proposed or completed improvements, the quality and acceptability of any workmanship of any completed improvement, whether or not the contractor who is proposed to perform any improvement is licensed by the city and whether any complaints have been lodged with the city regarding the work of any such contractor. This service shall be performed at no cost for any party requesting the same age 65 or older.
