§ 150.65 WIRING IN RESIDENTIAL UNITS.
   Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the “International Code Council Inc., 2006 Edition,” or the “Chicago Electrical Code,” on all new single-familyresidential units and existing residential unitswhere new service equipment is installed, theminimum shall be of no less than three-wire 120/240volts with solid neutral 100 ampere service.The main service disconnect shall be 100 ampere circuit breaker or fuse type pull-out disconnect. Disconnecting all circuits of no less than 12 circuits, all are not required to be used. The individual circuit devices shall be of noninterchangeable single breaker type or Edison fuse holders with “S” type fuse holders and fused in accordance with Table 87-210.27 “Table of Requirement” and Table 88-10 of the “Chicago Electrical Code.” Installation of electrical services (service installation system) must be installed by a licensed contractor holding a City of Chicago, Cook County, or State of Illinois license.
