All construction sites located in any district shall erect a barrier when required by the building official. The type, height, and location of the barrier will be determined by the building official. These barriers are in addition to erosion control measures, and are intended to ensure the security and safety of the construction site. Barriers shall be of adequate strength to resist wind pressure, as specified in Chapter 16 of the International Building Code (IBC).
