Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the “International Code Council Inc., 2006 Edition,” no permit will be granted for the construction of a main structure where the ground floor area, exclusive of garages, one-story open porches, and breezeways, is less than 1,400 square feet in the case of a one-story structure, or less than 1,000 square feet in the case of a one, one and one- half, two, or two and one-half story structure.
