(A) A person who possesses a key, a tool, an instrument, an explosive, a device, a substance, or a drawing, print, or mold of a key, a tool, an instrument, an explosive, a device, or a substance designed to open, break into, tamper with, or damage a coin-operated machine as defined in § 132.07 (B) with intent to commit a theft from the machine, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
(B) The owner of a coin-operated machine may maintain a civil cause of action against a person engaged in the activities covered in this section and may recover treble actual damages, reasonable attorney's fees, and costs.
(C) As used in this section,
SUBSTANCE means a corrosive or acidic liquid or solid but does not include items purchased through a coin-operated machine at the location or acquired as condiments at the location of the coin-operated machine.
