It shall be an unlawful real estate practice and a violation of this section for any real estate agent or other person to refuse to receive or to fail to transmit a bona fide offer for the purchase, sale, exchange, rental, or lease of any real property because of the race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin of the person making such offer.
