It shall be an unlawful practice and a violation of this section for any owner or other person to sell, lease, rent, advertise, appraise, or provide brokerage services for real property or to deny or limit services or facilities in connection with the sale, rental, lease, advertisement, appraisal, or brokerage of real property or in the sale of insurance for real property based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, or national origin.
