§ 94.02 SIGNIFICANT ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS.
When a proposal is made for a significant roadway improvement which, in the city council's judgment, may have an impact on residents in the area, the following procedure should be followed. The city council shall designate the streets or areas that are to be improved, and direct the preparation of plans and cost estimates. The city council shall then send to residents who, in the council's judgment, may be interested in or affected by the improvement, a general description of it, and shall invite the residents to attend a meeting where the improvement may be discussed and the residents may furnish the city council with their views and suggestions.
