(A) All resident owners of a dog and/or cat over the age of four months shall within 30 days of acquisition vaccinate the animal for rabies according to law and license them with city.
(B) Licenses shall be renewed on January 1 of each year. Licenses not renewed by February 1 shall be considered past due and the owner may be cited.
