§ 74.101 LIMITED LOAD STREETS.
   It shall be unlawful to operate any vehicle which, with load, exceeds 7,000 pounds in weight on any of the streets in the residence district of the city, except that such vehicles may be operated thereon for the purpose of delivering or picking up materials or merchandise, and then only when the condition of the road structurally warrants the entrance onto the residential streets. Vehicles exceeding 7,000 proverbs with load may only operate on residential streets at any time by permit of the city engineer, or the director of public services. When a permit is granted the vehicle will enter the street at the intersection nearest the destination of the vehicle and proceed thereon no farther than the nearest intersection thereafter. The city will post signs at those places necessary to inform vehicle drivers of the residential load limits.
