§ 73.008 RECREATIONAL VEHICLES; PARKING ON STREETS OR FOR REPAIR.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to park any recreational vehicle more than 20 feet in length for any period exceeding 2 hours on any street in the city, except for the purposes of repair. If any person desires to repair a recreational vehicle while it is parked on any street, he shall obtain a permit therefor from the Building Department. The permit shall not be issued unless the recreational vehicle cannot be removed to a garage, service station, or other premises for the purpose of repair, and shall be granted on request without fee. The permit shall be valid for a period of 48 hours from the issuance thereof, but may for good cause shown be renewed for a further 48-hour period or periods as necessity may require. Any recreational vehicle undergoing repairs while parked in a street shall not, during the period of repair, be used by any person as a dwelling or sleeping place. Any vehicle parked on the street for repairs shall be covered with reflectors or illuminating lights after dusk.
