For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
MOTORIZED SCOOTER.
A device with two or more tandem axles and a combination of wheels connected by a platform designed for standing or sifting and which is propelled by a motor, whether electric or internal combustion, including motorized skateboards and bicycles, except "electric personal assistive mobility devices" as defined in ILCS Ch. 625 Act 5, § 1-117.7 and "motorized wheelchairs" as defined in ILCS Ch. 625, Act 5, § 1-148.3.
PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY.
Any public street, sidewalk or public parking or loading area.
