(A) No person shall ride upon or otherwise operate a skateboard upon a public sidewalk, street, park or any publicly owned or maintained area in a negligent or reckless manner, or in any manner which would create a danger of injury to a person or property.
(B) The term
SKATEBOARD, as used in this subchapter, shall designate a platform supported by wheels intended to carry and support a human foot and to be propelled by human foot power. It includes vehicles containing a handle bar and sometimes referred to as scooters.
