§ 72.041 LIMITATION UPON TRANSPORTATION OF MINIBIKES; EXCEPTION; PENALTY.
   (A)   The transportation of unlicensed self-propelled vehicles on public rights-of-way is prohibited unless the vehicles are transported in a licensed motor vehicle. This provision shall not apply to the transportation of lawn-mowing or landscaping equipment within a reasonable distance from a site where the equipment is to be used, or the transportation of construction equipment within a reasonable distance from the site where the equipment is to be used if a permit has been issued by the police department for the transportation.
   (B)   Any person violating this section, or the owner of any equipment transported in violation of this section, or, in the case of the unlawful transportation of an unlicensed self-propelled vehicle by a minor, the parent or legal guardian of the minor shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $500 for each offense.
