§ 52.31 WHEN CITY MAY ORDER SEWER REPAIRS PERFORMED; WHO BEARS COST.
   Whenever a home sewer is obstructed or is found to be broken or defective so that sewage escapes into the surrounding soil, or into adjacent premises, repair or replacement may be ordered by the director of public services of the city. The repairs shall be performed at the expense of the owner or person in control of the property.
