§ 51.03 FEES FOR THE USE, INSTALLATION, AND INSPECTION OF CITY- OWNED WATER METERS.
For the use, installation, and inspection of a 5/8-inch by 3/4-inch water meter in a single-family residence, the owner shall pay to the city, prior to the issuance of a building permit, the sum of $125. When the consumer's plumber has completed the installation of all pipes and other work preliminary to the installation by the city of its meter, an appointment shall be made with the city for installation. In the event that an appointment is made for installation, and the city determines that the preliminary work has not been satisfactorily completed so as to permit installation and it therefore becomes necessary for the city to return to the premises at subsequent times, the consumer shall pay to the city the sum of $15 for each additional call made by the city to the premises.
