Any plumber or sewer contractor doing work on homes in unincorporated areas, which plumbing is to be hooked into the water and sewer systems of the city, shall be required to post with the city a bond in the amount of $200 cash per meter to cover the inspection of the connections to the water or sewer systems of the city. Upon completion of the inspection by the city of the plumbing connection to the city's water and sewer systems, and if the connection is found to be properly installed, the $200 bond shall be returned to the plumber or sewer contractor.
